I need a washer fluid bottle (tank) for my truck, is that something I would probably have to get at the dealer or a junkyard, or would a regular auto parts store be able to get one?
Not sure if the dealer still carries it or if a parts store would have OEM... . I know you could get some kind of rigged setup, but a junkyard would be your best bet for cheap money.
Any Dodge truck from 1994 to 2002 in 1500 2500 or 3500 will have the same bottle and same plug ins. Check out the salvage yards locally and if you dont yield one local I can send one to you for shipping money.
I wouldn't waste my time putting a used one in. The plastic degrades over time. You can them new from "internet" dealers much cheaper than most real dealers list prices. Same for the radiator overflow bottle.
Both of mine failed over time without the truck being used much.
