I have thougth of dissableing the waste gate. What I was wanrdering (sp) is has anyone had that experince and if so what could be expeced? Could it make to much boost for the engine, wouldn't want to hurt my BABY!!

Yes you could fry your engine at higher rpm/speed plus a few other things you don't want to spend your money on.
Adjusting it would be better or bigger exhuast housing. I believe the 16 cm doesn't have wastegate but not sure.
Our turbo's have smaller air tunnel which gives the engine more boost at lower rpm/speeds but to much boost at higher rpm/speed without wastegate.
Check the archives or TDR magazines should have plenty of info.

Disabling mine sure didn't hurt anything. With the 340hp plate & 5000' elevation, I got 32psi & 38psi @ sea level, so I left it disabled. #ad
Got to love these things. #ad

I disabled the waste-gate on my motorhome once. Darn think started dumping sewage every time I flushed the toilet so I enabled it again. #ad

I did run around for quite sometime without one. I have only floored a couple of times. I did hit 30 psi. The turbo is fairly restrictive so running to much boost will probably cause a lot of back pressure. Could blow a gasket or etc. This is of course with the cam plate forward. If you are completely stock you should be safe.
YOU ARE YOUR OWN WARENTY STATION !
I just put a new waste gate on that illflem gave me. I backed the rod off some. I push about 22 psi. I gonna the next time I work on the truck will try to adjust for 25 to 27 psi.

If you can smell this message. I Farted

I ran mine dissconected and wired shut for over 100k with out any problems whatsoever. 43 to 53 psi. I had it so it would bleed off to 45psi by pinching the end of the steel hose and cutting a slot behind that. nees very little flow through the pinced end and usually bout 1/4 way through the cut. at 372hp.

mainly, keep a close eye on your egt.
