Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Waste Gate ?

I just ordered Blue Chip's APB Fueling box. I plan on being light on the adjustment until I'm able to spend some $$$ on the stock Auto. Would it still be to my benifit to put a turnbuckle and spring on my waste gate, even though I'm only gonna use the fueling box at 25% capacity or so ??

I figure the box does plug into the MAP sensor. If it does than you might as well disable the wastegate too. The more BOOST the better
