I've been doing serious studying. My truck is bone stock except for the little modifications in my signature. My boost seems to be at about 12-13 pounds. My buddy has a 1997 with a 230 horse plate, he tested my truck out last night and said he thought my gauge was wrongHe thought that i should be making more boost than that stock. So, what were you guys making when stock?
Now, I don't know what to do for turbo modifications. I thought about turbo modifications and installing a 16 cm housing. My truck has 180,000 miles on it. Then I thought about Piers Super TurboMore money but I believe it would help a lot. I don't really want injectors, as they cost a lot of money and look newer anyway. So turning up the screw and possibly timing advancements to get the fuel. That should get me to 230-250 horse

What do you guys think?
Thanks

The secret to performance is injectors. No if's, but's, or maybe's. The secret to gettting it to be responsive on the low end is the smaller housing. Now, the way to choose is to decide how much overall power you want to have. If you're not going to exceed 220 or so, use the 12. If you're not going past 260 or so, use the 14. If you're going to run over 2800 and want more HP than the 14, use the 16. You'll find youll have to run the engine in the higher rpm range, and the low end just won't be there. It's all a matter of physics... getting sufficient air to flow through the hot side of the turbo to burn the fuel.
