Can I adjust my wastegate for a higher pressure or completely disconnect it? I'd like to get into the high 20's or low 30's if possible. Any ideas.

BTW, I have a HX35W turbo

Thanks JCOo.

there's a couple of ways you can do this. you can completely disconnect, or block your waste gate signal, which is not always good for you turbo, or you can buy a boost elbow that will allow you to close of your wastegate, and at the same time adjust the boost. now how much boost you need will also determine if you need to block the signal all the way or just alittle bit. you need 1 pound of boost for every 10 hp. so if you are running 250hp you only need 25lbs. of boost. if you block your waste gate you might see 30lbs. of boost. you don't need that extra 5lbs. of boost. all that is going to do is drive your egt's up and drive you intake temps up, and will create more drive pressure. all of those factors inhibit power gains. if you can match how much boost you need to you fueling, then you will get the most amount of power. i would just buy the boost elbow and use that and adjust to what you need.

citydiesel has a very slick boost elbow set up with different size orifices for different bleed off pressures
