Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) wastegate and afc plumbing help

i have myself all confused on how this goes.



can some one tell me how this is to be plumbed in in regards to the turbo, wategate, afc housing, and the hard line... .



also where is the plate with the engine cpl or what ever that number is called located at?

The wastegate does not have to be plumbed back into the afc housing. You could drill and tap a port on the outlet of the compressor side of the turbo. This way you dont have to run that line across the engine.

When I ran my 14 non gated housing and my 16 housing I decided to remove the line all together. Now that I have a 14 gated housing back on the truck I will use a port on the compressor side of the turbo. .

The engine number plate is on the right side edge of the front gear case.
