wastegate - and boost pressure

2001 HO 6spd one month old, boost and pyro gauge, 4 inch exhaust is next. I read about using a turnbuckle to close the wastegate, can I do that on a completely stock motor or will I send the stock computer a wrong message and then have problems??

If you don't have a boost module you will set an over boost code in the computer.

Mike, your truck comes with a brass elbow that can be changed out for an adjustable elbow. Most boost modules come with a new elbow. The turnbuckle is for the hard lined wastegated Cummins. Pete
