Correct me if I am wrong but if you get more boost won't the computer just compensate by defueling or opening the wastegate further since it is electronic??? I don't have any idea so if somebody knows would you please chime in!!
Yup. . unless you have some sort of fooler like the edge or other boxes that are out there. I don't know if extending the wastegate would give you enough boost where that would come into play or not though. Also only the 2004. 5 trucks have the electronic wastegate and not the 03's and 04's.
the reason i asked is I read a post were washer were put on the canister studs to get more boost. I just thought if the wastegate itself was somehow adjustable this would be the easier way. I think it was the same post that someone said the computer will not defuel until you go over 30lbs of boost. maybe someone can answer the question of which way is easier.
