Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) wastegate stuck ?

I can not move rod between the actuator and the gate, seems to be stuck closed. what can cause this. And how to fix it thanks for eny info

Are you trying to move the rod by hand? Shouldn't be able to. Best way to see if it is stuck, would be to use compressed shop air.

how much boost is it making? the actuator end is usually machine crimped on the rod. shop air is the best. if its a hx35y you wont be able to check it this way as there is no hose to disconnect to the actuator.
