New Hotshot Operation

Plastic welding

Gets the second trailer set up in the correct arc and then chases it with the first one.....I used to do stuff like that but wonder how well I would do now wearing progressive glasses...probably take the sign down....:)

It is a “B” train though, one less hinge in the middle then a standard set of doubles..nice job regardless..

Tried that a few times when I was doing towing & recovery, but was never that good. My boss, however, could do some amazing stuff with anything hanging off the back of a HD wrecker.

With only one pull up to square the entire rig. Makes me a little ashamed to tell anyone I hold a class A.

Was that your footage? I’m not familiar with A,B etc, and it was hard to see the axle setup, other than the tag on the first trailer. Extra impressed how he wound up, and how straight.

So as you can see the "A" trailer has a fixed tandem or tridem when it is a tanker or flatbed.

But for dry vans and reefers it has to slide under and create a flush rear for liftgate use and being able to come up against a loading dock....

No, that was in Quebec i believe. See the "B" lead trailers over here in Maine from time to time but without a 2nd trailer attached..

I don't know if they are legal stateside where other double set-ups are allowed such as the Mass Pike, NY Thruway, etc....

27' pups with a dolly are everywhere on the Interstates but double 45' and up trailers are a different story..
