Water/Coolant Mix

What water is safe to run w/ G-05 coolant? Heard distilled is a nono, and our tap water will rot your a-hole out.

DI is usually a safe bet. One of the cheapest ways to get it is to visit your local waste water treatment plant and ask if the lab can spare the time to fill a jug or two for you. Be sure to visit personally or get info from someone who works there.

What is DI? I used distilled water with Cummins ES Complete Concentrate, Is that a potential problem?

Never heard of distilled water being a "no-no" - I use steam distilled water in all my vehicles, it's quite cheap and available at most grocery stores in gallon jugs. I used it for 11 years and 120K miles in my '91 truck - and so far for 60K in the '02 - no problems of any sort...
