sat. drove 150 miles light stays on park truck 2 hours restart truck and light goes out 150 miles home stayed off 2 days later start truck light back on . changed filter drained fuel filter 2 weeks ago bad sensor ? :)

Have you tried draining the water from the fuel filter housing. That's where the sensor is and the water won't come out by draining the tank.

yes i have drain the fuel filter 7 times

Are you catching what comes out and checking to see if there's H2O in it after it settles? If there's H2O then I'd keep purging the filter bowl every so often. If there's no H2O then I'd suspect the WIF sensor. MHO.
 
water in fuel

How do you drain the water from the filter housing? My water in fuel light turned on today after pulling my 30ft livestock trailer today. 2001 5-speed 24v :confused:
