My 01, 6 speed the other day sputtered & stammered, then cleared up. Couple days later it did it again, this time the water in Fuel light come on. Changed the filter immediately. Was ow for a couple days then did it again. Took to dealer, they said 0 fuel pressure, changed Lift Pump. Ok until today, sputter and water in Fuel light on again. Have run several tanks of fuel through during this time so I don't think its fuel. Advise ?

I would drain your fuel filter into a clear glass container and let it settle then look to see if there is water in it. Just because you have run several tanks of fuel through since this started, does not mean that you don't have water in your tank.

You may have to drain your tank to get all the water out.

Something similar happened recently to a buddy of mines truck. There was a short in the wiring harness connecting to the lift pump, that was causing the WIF light to come on. But I hate to say that I saw him last Wednesday and he had to also have his VP-44 replaced to finally fix it. The good folks at RM Cummins got him set up. Anytime I hear of someone with 0 FP I just gringe, he had no FP either. No tellin how long he was without FP, but your pump might be on it last leg.
