Dealer part, Cummins or elsewhere? Got one leaking, about 1 drop every 1-2 seconds which would seem to be a significant loss of fuel.

Dealer should have it.

OR... there is a filter number that does not use the senser. I forget the part number but you should be able to find in in an archive search.

It is a Fleetguard part, they are in Geno's Garage catalog, I have also got them from Scheid Diesel. It is the same on 1989-1995 or 1996? trucks. They were about $26.

Are you sure it's the sensor? New fuel filters come with a set of O-rings. Might it just be a worn or pinched one? Just trying to offer the cheapskate suggestion. :)

The question is - where is it leaking from top or bottom? Tugboatphil is right about the "O" rings providing the sensor is not cracked.

BTW way "Cudos" on your Red Eye video. Oo. Oo.

It was leaking from the water drain valve. New one fixed it, but has a different connector for the wires. Splicing the old connector on wouldn't be much trouble, but since I have a bum engine controller which turns on the water in fuel light at random anyway that doesn't much matter.
