My version of a Dmax test drive

I seem to have gotten water in the drivers head light. I don't know how or when, but it does seem to have a effect of the brightness of the light. Anyone had this happen to them???

If so how did you get the water out and how have you keep it out ?

Looks like yours is a new one so have them change it. Theres seems to be quite a few doing this looks like another bad design. They changed the LH one on mine around 37000(free)and now at around 48000 the RH the mirrow finish is duller than the LH but now they want cover it so I will have to do it myself. I just posted a note about this today so I will have to order me a new one.

About 6 months after getting my 99, driver's side headlight had water in it too. Took it to the dealer and they replaced it under warranty, no questions. Have not had the problem since it was replaced.

The seal between the lens and housing has failed. There are 2 fixes.

#1. If under warranty, let DC replace the unit!

#2. If not under warranty, drill a couple of 1/8" holes in the bottom of the housing- air can circulate and dry the unit out.
