I was wondering if anyone has had this problem before? My 03 dually is leaking water into the cab through the driver side a pillar. The bolt plugs from the o/s handle is were the water leaks. But with the heavy rains that south Texas has been slammed with ive noticed that it is beginning to saturate the headliner. I cant figure out were it coming from I have looked everywhere i know to look any info on the matter is greatly appreciated.

Offhand I'd say you have a clearance light leaking. Might try tightening them yourself or getting to the dealer.

I had water leaking through the clearance lights screw holes. They had a really thin hard plastic washer that I replaced with some thicker neoprene ones. I hope it's fixed now.

I agree with checking for cracks. On mine you cant see any cracks. They are seperating at the seam were the two halves are glued at the factory. I am still waiting for the back ordered lights to come in. I can see moisture droplets in them at night. No water in the cab on mine though.

It's weird this post showed up today. Last night I jumped in the truck and noticed drops hanging from the center overhead display. Don't know if it's the clearance lights or the windshield. Any TSBs on this?

Thanks for all the info the dealers down here said they have never heard of this before. So they want me to drop it off next Thursday so they can see if they can make it leak. I don't know what they are going to do to achieve this I guess set a gumba outside with a water house on my truck all day

It took two dealer trips to get this fixed on mine - it was the clearance lamps. I think 3 of the 5 had to be totally replaced. The water didn't cause any permanent problems that I know of (somehow it didn't short out my overhead computer), but I didn't let it sit either. I love the look with the lamps (optional on my 2500) but they've been the single dark spot in an otherwise sunny ownership experience!
