Water/Meth Injection and Regen

Anyone here try using a water injection system on a 6. 7L yet? I would think that this would cool the intake air, which in turn would cool the EGT causing problems for the Regen of the DPF... or am I wrong?

I've got Painless's ColdShot on my truck and it does not seem to effect regen. Regen happens most of the time at low boost levels so no water is typically being injected.



My personal feeling is water/meth is the safest power adder for the 6. 7s emmissions.

I've installed a snow performance stage 3, works great no problems, drops egt's a few hundred degrees. would definately recommend.

How much power do you think you are getting out of it? Can you feel the difference?? Getting ready to get my 6. 7 this week.
