I plan on swaping the wp this weekend. I was wondering if there was anything out of the ordinary when doing the swap? I have done plenty of gasser wp's, but never a Cummins. I did a search, but could not find any info.
I also have a leak through the top bolt on the mount that holds the fan to the front of the motor. Any idea on why this bolt would be weaping??? I guess I will pull it and try to seal the bolt.

If you don't have it already, download the Dodge Repair Manual for the 5. 9 engine. I have the 03DRM. PDF, and the water pump removal/installation instructions are on page 7-62 - 7-64. Looks pretty straighforward. The dealer told me that it only took about half an hour, but I'd spend half an hour removing the belt, coolant overflow bottle and the fan. My experience with water pumps has been that there will always be one bolt or nut that is frozen and won't come off until you put some cutting oil on it and drink a very cold beer before trying to loosen it.
No need to remove the fan, WP sits to the side, take belt off the tensioner pulley, undo the 2 bolts holing WP in the block, clean block, install gasket and new WP, re-install belt. Top off fluid. 20 minutes. . did mine at 120,000. I couldn't believe how easy it was. .
As JFortune said, no need to remove fan or overflow bottle. Just remove belt from tensioner and around water pump (don't take it off of other accessories). Drain down radiator (save fluid if still good).
Take care when putting belt back on that it is properly lined up with pulley's that are grooved. I used a 1/2" ratchet I to take the tension off of the tensioner. I have the handle of the ratchet pointing down and strap it to passenger side frame rail with a tie down strap, this allows me to hold the tensioner in one position while I adjust the belt location.
I got my water pump from Pep Boys, had them in stock at the local store and was only $49. 95.
