Water pump Weep hole???

Is there a water pump weep hole to ck?? Seems like I read it in the owners manual. Now that my truck has been dry and the coolant has equalized, I got a few drops of coolant under the front of the motor this afternoon. From all I can tell it was coming from somewhere NEAR where the lower radiator hose meets the block or lower. I was amazed how tight of a squeeze it was in there and I couldn't even reach in to feel where the hose meets the block it was so tight. Looks like you would have a heck of a time just to replace the lower hose on these 06's. . LOLOL



Any Ideas of what to ck on the water pump area??? Thanks!!

I suppose you could take a mirror and look between the pulley and the pump housing. Before you get to doing that though, check the overflow hose. My '07 weeped from the nipple on the neck. Put a clamp on it, and no more leak.

Nope, not the over flow hose! LOL ALl clamped! I have been have a slight drizzle from the TOP of the overflow bottle for the last couple weeks. Turns out it was the radiator cap. . Pressures equalized after I changed it and no more drizzle. . but now a few drops around the water pump area/ Lower hose. THanks for the info!
