Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Water pump

I give up,

I have looked and looked and I cannot find the water pump weep hole. I have taken an inspection mirror and looked at every conceivable place including at the four O'clock position and I honestly believe I do not have the weep hole in my pump. While this is not causing a problem now, should I ever develop a water leak, would'nt the leak go directly into the crankcase? My engine serial # starts with 569, and it's a 2001. 5 with the high output engine. Please help

It's there, but it could be covered with crud. If the pump leaks you'll see the results coming out right at the pump and down on the ground not in the crankcase! My first one went at about 150,000, is there something that leads you to think that it's leaking ?
