Well... not that bad. I hop in the truck after work today, it had been raining most of the day. As I pull away from the curb I notice water dripping from the overhead console from between the info center and the sunglasses compartment.

I have heard about the third brake light leaking, but I can't imagine the water traveling that far.

I'm assuming it probably one of the clearance lights on the roof.

Has anyone had this happen?

Are there replaceable gaskets under these lights and behind the third brake light?

Thanks in advance,

Mark

I used the putty tape that RVs use to seal the windows and its worked great for 3 years. The 3rd brake light is really bad about leaking so try that first.

What I found was the plastic nuts inserted in the roof were stripped that held down the clearance lights. I bought some at the dealer($$$) and replaced those that were, cleaned up around the lamp housings and put a coat of wax on. re installed the screws and no more leaks. Hope this helps!

Water can travel pretty far before a leak will show. I would try the 3rd brakelight first as it would be the easiest.
