i occassonally get out on the road and this week was one of those times.
i drove 400 miles from Cleveland to Rosemont, Il (far side of chicago) for a trade show on tuesday and back today. since i was not in a hurry, i kept busy counting how many car haulers, RV trailers and other 3/4 ton and 1 ton haulers were going the other direction.
my un-scientific observation was an approximate ratio of:
10 dodge/cummins trucks
2 chevy diesels
1 ford diesel.
i lost track of how many total units i saw. it was well over 50.
there were a few gas units in there too. again, i couldn't always see if they were diesels or not but the overwhelming amount of dodges really surprised me.
for the guys that are driving for a living, are you seeing this same kind of dominence by dodge or is my judgement biased because of this single trip?
