Peter,

Sooner or later I'll need a new clutch. Naturally you will get the job.

I'm sure that the TDR contributed to your success, but I hope you realize that the main factor in your success is you. You get the TDR business because you sell good products at a fair price, and you back them up with service, expertise, and honesty. Thanks for all of that.

I haven't even met you yet, but I certainly know of you. A reputation must be earned from this group and you have earned yours.

I'd love to win a new clutch, but if I have to buy one, I know I'll get my money's worth.

I'm driving an auto box, but I would still like to give a big thumbs up to SBC and TDR. My best to the two big winners.

South Bend clutch

I think you should award the clutch to a poor Canadian like me, it would be like winning a million Canadian dollars.

AND THE WINNERS ARE ... .

From both SouthBend Clutch and the staff of the Turbo Diesel Register, thank you to all of our supporters! You're the greatest.

We just finished the drawing, and here are some fun statistics:

- We received 1,294 "clean" entries (yep, we removed any duplicate entries from folks) - one member/one registration.

- Appx. 52% of the registrants indicated they have 5-speed transmissions.

- Appx. 48% have 6-speeds.

And the winners are . . . .

1. Phil Brenner (Model Year: 1992) - Ripon, CA

2. Bill Lins (Model Year: 1998) - Wharton, TX

Congratulations to you both; Peter will be in touch with you later today.

And a very BIG THANK YOU to each TDR Member!!!

Man you guys are lucky.

Congratulations. Especially to Bill. Winning a new clutch just before a big Houston bombing party. Some guys have all the luck.

Congrats to the winners. And thanx to TDR & SBC for showing us class acts. I really wanted that clutch, but just knowing I had a chance was fun. Thanx again

I would like to say congratulation to Phil and Bill. :)

I would also like to say Thank You to the TDR and all its members. With the awesome emails that I receive and the countless wonderful things people had to say made this lottery fun for me and worth its weight in gold. From what was posted here and what I read on my emails shows what a class act all of you are.

My Hat goes off to all of you... you're awesome!!!!

You're welcome, it was my pleasure. I will do this again in the up coming year.

sweeeet

Just got home and got the message from peter on my answering machine. I figured my buddies were messing with me cause i never win anything. So i got on here and sure enough i won. Thanks so much to Peter. Man this is too cool i just cant tell you thanks enough. The ol 92 is gonna get a real clutch. The OEM unit is holding right now, but i finally have everything to do the P-pump conversion, so that would have changed quickly enough. ;) I am going to call Peter tomorrow. Man this is awesome. Life is GOOD!

I'd like to thank Robert and his boss, er, bride for everything they have done for us, and to Peter, for not only a quality product but superb customer service and especially for bailing us out in Kerrville this year.

(For those who didn't know, after some sponsor/vendors backed out on us, Peter flew down from Indiana to put on a tech seminar at the Lone Star TDR meeting last November. His presentation, and especially his impressions of some guy named Piers or docks or something :D, made the meeting worthwhile!)

You guys are both a class act!

BTW, my truck is a PROPERLY-valved 98! :D
