We had better start using a new term - I think!!!

I'm a thinking that since the passage of new Patriot Act Yesterday, with it's much needed expansion of law enforcement capabilities, there are certain terms we may want to eliminate from our website - like our favorite one about modifying our rigs - you all know the word I mean. While I don't want to get anybody's panties crunched, that term, with the new powers, may bring all of us under scrutiny we don't want to go, nor need to be identified or profilled as belonging to... ... ... get my drift?????

Here's some choices:

"Bomb" becomes B. O. M. B. - awkward to type.

COMB - customized or modified baby!

GAME - greatly altered / modified engine, as in 'got GAME'

WINS - watch-out! its not stock

and deferring to MC Hammer:

CTS - can't touch this!!

the term BOMB has been used since the first few forums of TDR! also, the other manufactures sites wish they had such a great aphorism as we do i've seen it scrutnized on the frerd and duracrap sites with sarcastic envy!! God bless the men and women who are protecting and investigating these recent happnings. i don't think they will put our happy family in the spotlight for a simple saying we have used for years ... . james

Hey, I know, just spell it backwards. They will never figure out what we are talking about if we do it that way. . Come on guys wake up and give the feds a little credit. I think they can figure out what we are talking about when we say we are Bombing our trucks. If they can't it is time for them to find and and learn what we are talking about. Who knows maybe some of them own Dodges and will like to start bombing their trucks.

The high school in Richland Washington is the Bombers and there symbol in an Atomic bomb mushroom cloud and I have not seen or heard a word aboue changing a thing since 09-11-01. There symbol and name has been debated before then but the out come of the vote was overwhelming to keep both.



I don't thing there in any need to change the term for bombing the Cummins. It would be giving in to the terrorist to change the way we live our lives and conduct our business.

That brings to mind the Cincinnati Reds. They were criticised for their name during the Cold War because communists were called Reds. Their response was "let them change. We were Reds before they were. " Well, the Cincinnati Reds are still the Reds. The commies didn't do so well. The Bombers in Richland will still be the Bombers when these terrorists are sick of bombs.

evidently many gov't people had quite an interest in the northwest bombers site. hey, i can't blame 'em, maybe some of 'em were actually doing their jobs. as i have said before--NOW IS NOT THE TIME TO BE POLITICALLY CORRECT!!! that being said i will continue to BOMB, BOMB, BOMB my truck.

Doug, good point about the Richland Bombers. I've admired their "mascot" since it's a dare-to-be-different to say the least. Anyone tired of your typical Wilcats and Bulldogs and Mustangs and such?



Here is Richland High's website. http://www.owt.com/rhs/ Richland is the closest city to the Hanford Nuclear Reservation here in SE Washington, which was very involved in the nuclear developments during WW2.



There are a lot of businesses around here whose names reflect the nuclear theme. . . I buy groceries at Atomic Foods, got a decal made for my truck at Atomic Screen Printing. . . there's a lot of "Atomic This" and "Atomic That" around here

I don't think that the organized terrorist scumbags would be so stupid as to use words like BOMB in the clear for purposes of describing actions that further their causes. One of the big problems for the FBI/CIA/NSA is to keep up on the scumbags code word dictionary. Now some of the toothless domestic terrorist variety scumbags might. OH NO - MAYBE THAT IS WHAT THEY THINK THE TDR BOMBers ARE
