2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Weak brakes

I recentlly rebuilt my vacuum pump and replaced the gear box. I drained the power steering fluid while I was at it. Everything is back together and the steering feels great. But now the brakes feel weak. Does the hydrobooster need to be bled or something?

Quite possibly needs to be bled. The power steering pump supplies the hydraulic pressure for the booster.

I knew that part, just not sure if that part of the system would bled itself. If not how do I do it?
