What is the best way to replace the front passenger grab handle? A skinny buddy of mine broke my handle accidently. Any ideas of reinforcment? Replace or redesign? Thanks in advance.

I pulled out the DS one.

Looking at it, I figured you can turn a piece of aluminum REALLY thin, and cap it over the inside of it, and another one goes over the outside of the plastic. Think like a bullet brass casing. The bolt still passes through the hole, and there is an aluminum "sandwich" that distributes the load, and keeps the plastic from splaying.

So, if you have lathe access and a piece of aluminum, turn up some caps :D

Or, buy powersteps (I did both)

Sure, some skinny dude grabs onto your Dodge Ram "HEAVY DUTY" and rips it out. These Trucks are the flimsiest full size trucks ever produced. If you can keep someone from leaning on your bed,,, and denting it,,, please let me know!!!

I have a few dings on my truck from people leaning on the bed. It's embarrasing to tell people don't lean on a big diesel cause your arm will leave a dent.

I wish there was an A-pillar gauge pod for the passenger side to put some unimportant gauges such as air pressure.

I hardley sit on the passenger seat, and my girlfriend gets in just fine, so a handle isn't that big of a deal. I just want to cover the ugly body frame by the window.
