04 Dodge, Edge Juice w/ attitude, Fuel Pump in tank already. Has no pick-up at all, falls on its face, fells like its getting no fuel, sometimes 40mph is all it will do? Anybody with any answers to this one? Thanks

What kind of air filter? Is it an oiled filter? It could be the MAF sensor or whatever that sensor is called that connects to the air box. That thing can get covered in the filter oil and give you a bad reading and mess with the truck pretty bad. I take it this is not your truck?

Diesels are fuel driven. No power more than likely means no fuel. Has the fuel filter been changed? Every 10k miles is how I do it. Has the lift pump been checked? If it is dead or weak, no fuel=no power. Could be a sensor, have you checked codes? Sensors out of whack normally produce codes.

The engine codes are P0148 High Pressure Common Rail Checksum
and a P0514 Battery Temp Sensor Performance. Rail Pressure is 6700 psi at idle, IAT sensor voltage at idle . 8 - 1. 2. How do you check injector pressures. I did a injector test and all felt the same when shut off. On the 03-04 trucks the injectors sometimes crack somewhere with pressure boxes?? and how do you test for that.

No it is not my truck. It has a K&N intake system on it. Wouldn't i have a code for the IAT sensor if it was giving a weird reading? Thanks for the help.

The P0148 means the actual pressure is lower than the desired pressure, or lack of fuel. Can be anything from the lift pump through the injectors. You need to monitor the actual vs. desired to with a scan tool determine when it is not keeping up, then do the fuel checks to find the cause.

Lift pump puts out 2. 5 quarts in 45 seconds. So its getting fuel, then at idle if you unplug the cp3 fuel sensor or whatever the sensor is on the cp3 is called it is capable of 24,500psi of pressure when unplugged so i take it that the cp3 is good also.
