Frank, my inlaws live up Coal Creek Canyon west of Golden/Boulder at 9000' as of Thurs. night they had 18" and counting. In the last 5 weeks or so, they've received about 4' of new snow. Mostly 12-18" at a time. I miss the snow, but I don't miss living in the snow with horses. Drizzled all day here yesterday and blue skies here this a. m. Weather man said it would be intensifying by today with a couple inches in the forcast. Read again, blue skies this morning.

I am about 35 miles south of Downtown Denver and at 6200 feet. Well it blowed and snowed sideways like heck here last night after it stopped raining yesterday evening and still going strong but not as much accumulation as they said at least yet. Probably because it is such a wet snow and the ground is warm. My driveway had about 4 inches of really wet heavy stuff. Down here south of Denver it must have gotten a bit colder as the slush on the roads is pretty stiff and it has that nice layer of frozen rain snow mix on the roads underneath. Driving up to town saw several accidents including two rollovers on I-25. Once up to the Lincoln exit area the roads started getting much better they dont seem to have the frozen stuff underneath and for the most part are just wet and a bit slushy.

By the way Frank are you getting dumped on. They were talking 3 feet up in the hills down here on the news last night.

We got NUTTIN'! :{ I got out of my hockey game last night about 10:30 and it was dry! This morning- ZIP!! Like i said: Weather is an OPINION! Boss man hinted yesterday that today could be a powdwer day. Well bunk to that since we did't get JACK! For once I am jealous of you flatlanders in Denver:D Well, the weather chick did say that the opinions were valid thru Friday into Saturday AM, so if we get 12" tonight, I'll eat crow (as long as it has BBQ sauce on it:D )

I heard the foothills were gettin' hammered this morning!Oo.

Here at the office in Wheat Ridge we got a couple inches and it's still coming down. The roads are wet and the grass is covered. I am glad we are getting wet here but I wish it was snowing up in the high country for the reservoir's sake.

A'int that the truth! What did that b!tch get? a slap on the wrist?

They need to ban the enviro- wackos who don't want to allow forrest thinning too! They don't get the connection that more fuel = bigger fires

North Texas gets some snow, well not in April!! During winter, Amarillo/NW Texas area gets snow, and even as far south as Dallas usually gets some, i. e. 0. 5-1" or so. We had a blizzard this year, and we got about 4" at my house a little north of Dallas :) It lasted about 2 whole days!

What a job..... Guess on something with equipment that cost 100 k+ and get paid at least 85,000 a year and no matter how bad your guess is you wont get in trouble... What a joke.

Hale- It's gotta' be fun watchin' folks drive in an inch of snow when you are not used to it. 'Specially first time snow drivers:-laf . Course, don't wish 'em to get in accidents though. Speaking of Texas drivers- I swear that Cheby makes 2WD Suburbans for shipping to Texans only! The only ones I've seen have Texas plates! 2WD trucks are fun in snowy parking lots!

Well well well looks like the Rocky Mountain folks got the little chill snap that blew over the Northwest last weekend. Our temps plummeted to around 60.
