Weather Report from Minnesota

I just got off the phone with a friend in Minnesota.



He said that it began snowing early this morning. It's nearly waist

deep now and is still falling.



The temperature has dropped below zero and the north wind is increasing.



His wife has done nothing but look through the kitchen window.



He says that if it gets much worse, he may have to let her in.

Now that would be cruel!:{

Just flew out of KC back to Winter park this morning. Cold front came thru last night in KC when we got up it was 7 degrees out. When we left for airport it was 13 degrees.

When we landed in Orlando it was 70 degrees. Got to love the Sunhsine state except for the cold fronts that killed the Vegeatable plants three weeks in a row. :{( actually the first one probably got them). They seemed to like to hit on Monday and Tuesday dip down into the high 20's in Central Florida but South Florida was in the low 30's and had frost.

I let mine come back in the house yesterday afternoon, not just because of all of the new snow, cold temps, high north winds, it was getting close to meal time!!!!!! Present temp at my place in Berrrrrrrmidji MN is -14. Oh another thing the Cummins fired right up without being plugged in.

Arizona is not always hot, 01-01-2011 it was 10 below here, -19 in Flagstaff and -30 in Bellemont.

BTW... Happy New Year for all members on TDR!!! Mine might be VERY expensive and NOT so happy this year

Well got back to work and there is still some Florida Produce so I'm happy (especially that Tomatoes are still around). They(Farmers) must of planted cold weather plants for the fall/winter crop unlike last Jan(2010)



Unfortunately winter is not over yet and another freeze is expected.

I would love to get that much snow here.

last few winters we have got about one good storm then it all melts off
