Do any of you Houston guys know of a good dealer for Weatherguard in or around Houston? I have stopped at several truck accessory shops and trailer shops and no one carries them. Thanks for the help guys.

Try General truck body (dont know the # but they're in the yellow pgs) on Jensen. Ask for Mark K. he's a good guy to deal with & has good volume buying power, I've bought alot of stuff from him for yrs & they are usually competitivly priced with others. Also try Brians Tint shop on old 90 (also in the book).

When I bought mine (in Denver) I called Whethergard and asked for the names of dealers. They connected me to a company that sold construction equip. and they did me right. Got a good discount and nice service.

I have been looking for a weatherguard toolbox too. But they are a little too much $$$$$ around Austin. But I will keep looking.

General Truck Body, 7110 Jensen, 713-692-5177

Truckers Equipment, 7100 North Loop East, 281-447-7867

I bought my Weatherguard at a truck rigging outfit on the north side of Hempstead Highway east of Fairbanks North Houston - I can't find their name and number right now, but the guys at Leer on 290W sent me over there.

459. 00 is the cheapest I found one here in Austin at B&H Custom Hitches & Accessories 8823 N. Lamar @ Peyton gin. Still looking for a lower price.

Ischultz, if you spend that kinda $$$ buy a Rawson Koenig C-series box. They're built much stronger, My 250# a$$ has been walking on & jumping off of equipment onto mine for 10 yrs now. All with no ill effect. They're pretty stout. :D
