Got all new door seals, window channel seals and waterstops at the bottom of the window openings inside and out. The manual makes it sound pretty easy to change everything, but... ... ... ...

Anyone out there have any tips for a good installation? Looks like the door seals have been sealed with a rubber sealant. Is this something I do with the new or just if there is an air leak? The manual says nothing about this.

Is there an easy way to change the window channel seals without removing the door panels?

This will be a first for me changing these seals, thus the questions. Need all the help I can get!:)

Weatherstrip Insallation

Door weatherstrip is glued on with weatherstrip adhesive (yellow death), you can get a tube of it at your local auto body supply.

Window channels just slide in, no need to remove the door pannels or window glass. Just lower the window most of the way down and pull the upper end out of the door frame. The lower portion, inside the door, just slide it up and out. New channel goes back in just as easy as the old one came out.

The weatherstrips at the bottom of the window are a bit difficult to remove, they are held in by spring clips. To remove them you will need lower the window and pry the stip upward. New ones just snap back in place fairly easily.

Had posted this earlier for someone else, but can nolonger find the post.
