Do not know about the quality but you can get them from JCWhitney. They have them for just about all the vehicles. Free catalog too, but you sure get a lot of them when you order from them. About a year later they tone down. Heh heh.

No vent window weatherstrip :(

Jcwhitney has a LOT of stuff that is nice, but you just have to watch out for some cheap quality things.

Dodge still has the door striping listed. It is around $55. a door. If I can find my notes. I just priced it about 30 days ago and got the part number also.

The door belt lines are listed also. These are the rubber strips that go between the door glass and door metal. These were around $35. each. There are a right and a left side on these. The truck uses two of each.

All the weather striping I have gotten from J. C. has been sponge rubber. It didn't have the built in metal stip to hold it down. You had to use RTV or glue to hold it. "JUNK"

Ahhh... sounds like JCW. They actually claim that the front door belt strip is molded over a steel strip base too.

Speaking of these strips - did these trucks have one for the hood/firewall junction? Mine does not have one and the big gap sure puts a lot of leaves, limbs, water, etc right on top of the engine.

Try Soffseal. It looks like they have the door weatherstrip, but I didn't look for the other.

The company has a good reputation for quality stuff, but I haven't purchased anything from them in a long time.

I got a full set from ACME Truck Parts . Sounds like soemthing out of Roadrunner & Coyote but they actually have quite a bit of stuff. The weatherstripping I got was pretty close to original quality.

Thanks for the input!

One of the (many!) things I like about TDR is the friendliness and willingness to share info, experiences and help out!!

Hi Mike, Got mine from the dealership..... better quality than the jobber parts. Were $74. each. Little tip when installing... make sure that the flange that the strip mounts to is clean and straight - bend it gently if it is not. Vaseline lightly applied will keep them working like they should or silicon emulsion from the body shop... . during cold weather they can freeze to the door and be damaged when the door is opened... ... hope this helps
