Picked up my new loader bucket today, CNH 72" DF Bucket. I tried to order it from my local Bobcat, Case Construction, Kubota AG & Construction and New Holland AG. They said the part# was New Holland Construction so they did not have access to it, Huh? So I called my closest Case/IH dealer and he had no problem ordering it. Factory freight was cheap, I was surprised, $107.

After all the work to make my old Bobcat bucket fit I didn't like it, too big and ugly:D yet the capacity is almost the same. Old bucket is 77" wide 21" deep and the back is 34" tall, new bucket is 72" wide, 24" deep and 24" tall. They are both about 5/8 yard.

First time in ages I drove my truck empty, 389 miles round trip, 20.3 gallons for 19.16 mpg on winter fuel, nice! Lots of hills, including 10 miles of Salt River Canyon (twice) but because of that, the road is slow.

Lost a ball bearing on my tub grinder for the belt tensioner that drives the augers and conveyer. Haybuster only sells the complete pully, a big cast iron job. So I took it on myself to source the bearing, what a difficult project. First the number on it is obsolete BCA 205AN, nothing found under that. So I go by measurements, nothing by that. Turns out it is an Agriculture only application. I had never heard of that. It measures out to a BCA/National 205RVA or Fafner/SKF/Peer 205KRP2. I think I have one coming from Motion Industries. The first one was all correct but it was spherical, not square bore, so that just goes on the shelf. The bearing house I ordered it from did not specify that on the specs...

Did you try Bearing, Belt & Chain in PHX, Nick? They have some knowledgeable folks. Don't know about today, but Deere used to have a great bearing crossover manual.

205 sounds like a common number.
Have you tried McMaster- Carr?

I have not Tom or Wayne, just some online research. I think in the automotive, construction and industrial markets the #205, 204, 206 etc are more standard, that the suffix dictated mostly seal type or some small difference. Not so with AG. It can have several different id, od and widths. This one has an extended inner race on one side and is considered a "deep groove" for side stress.

So what exactly is it? A flange bearing? Pillow block? Does it have a insert? Is it self aligning? What’s your measurements?

Pruned some trees today so I fired up the chipper, I am going to like it for sure. About 10 minutes of chipping and 1/2 filled my 1 yard loader bucket.

Broke the fan belt on my grinder tractor today, 995 Case/IH. I was lucky that it happened while I was off my loader and near the tractor. I don't think I would have noticed it other wise, until it was too late. Bought a 6 pack of shop towels, they were on sale, figured they might come in handy if toilet paper don't come back:D

It just so happened, I plugged up the augers because I didn't have the belts tight enough and they slipped. When that happens you got problems, it will fill the belly full before you can get it stopped. My help noticed I was down and came over and helped dig it out, what a job! The material is a little too wet from our wet fall, winter and spring. I have a ten wheeler roll off truck coming in the morning so I had to grind it anyway.
