As some know, I have a '15 Longhorn dually, 4x4 MegaCab which had been stretched 20" and is now a LONG bed. This is full of fuel and 1/4 full of DEF. 255 pound driver:

Interesting. I guessed it would be about 300 heavier. I was close. Well, I may be right if I weigh 50lbs more than you.

My wife and my self 7/8 tank fuel no tool box and no hitch. This was on the highway truck scales. They vary a bit. About 360# between us.

front 5,380#

rear 3,634#

9,014#

Nickel and diming here, but I suppose I have more hitch weight. I have the same factory crossbar as you do, where the factory gooseneck/fiver installs 20" from where it's supposed to be under the long bed, then have a B&W installed above the rear axle over where my splice is. So whatever that B&W weighs... though I'm sure that thing is under 100lbs. I also have a steel (instead of aluminum) two piece driveshaft as well as a new crossmember where the 2 piece driveshaft pillow is installed...I'm beginning to see where the extra ~350lbs is. :)

My drive shaft is two pc also. Honestly I have gotten some weird numbers on the highway truck scales. When I hook the new 15 to the new 16 I will go to the Cat scales and see what my real weights are and will also weigh unloaded just for fun.

Have you gotten the Cat scale app on your phone? Makes it super quick and easy to weigh. It's linked with Paypal and your phone GPS. You open the app, it knows what scale you're at based on the GPS, you hit a button, confirm you want to pay, weigh master tells you to pull off and the weight instantly shows up. It then sends a PDF to your email with the "official" document, or you can walk inside like normal and pick it up there.

Huh, your dually weighs as much as my truck does when it's loaded for a trip to the coast. My weights were:

5150 - Front axle
3300 - Rear axle

8450 - Gross Total weight

I figured 3/4 tank of fuel and 1/2 tank of DEF. Roughly, 690 pounds worth of passengers and cargo were in my truck at the time I weighed. This was done on a highway scale.

Saw I have no signature. I have a 2013 3500 SRW with a CC Short Bed. 4x4 with 68RFE.

Bumping this back to the top.. Finally got around to weighing my signature truck by its self..Full of fuel & 3/4 DEF, tool boxes with normal junk, and just my 250# standing by steering axle. Steering 5080 and drive 5160, gross 10240. Last fall when almost new with my goose neck trailer, full of fuel, tools, and 5000# 1949 Diamond T pick up loaded I was: Steering 5000, Drive 7260, and trailer 10220, for a gross of 22480.. Add the wife and luggage, ball park gross of 23,000#. This means I have about a 2100# pin weight. I am still running the OEM LT235/80R17 Nexan tires at 80psi all around even though the door sticker says only 65psi for my drives.

My rig weighed in at 9120lbs, full of fuel, 5th wheel hitch installed and me in the cab. So yours isn't too bad. I would have thought it weighed more.
