Does anyone know what this truck weighs? I'm attempting to find out for an owner that wants to carry a heavy camper. It will be in the 5k lb range.

I believe the gvw is 11k lbs. I told him he may be a little over the gvw, but should be ok on axle and tire limits.

Thanks

Truck weights close to 7500 lbs... you should be okay with a camper, these trucks haul good loads :)
Like He said. ;)

To be exact my 97 4x4 (2 door Club Cab) long bed 3500 dually (with tool box empty) and Ranch Hand front bumper (add 200 lbs easy) weighed in at 7,150 lbs. :D So it's around 7,000 lbs at least depending on what you have added.

I don't have my truck with me to check GVW but this link will give it to you if you have the VIN number:

For what it's worth: My 2001 4X2 weighs is at about 300 lb lighter than the 4X4 it appears. At the dump scales I came out empty weight of 6700 lb. I have no accessories except the mud flaps and bed mat.
