Hello and Happy Thanksgiving to all!

I ran my truck across some accurate digital scales a few days ago and thought that the information might be of interest to some of you.
My truck is a 1992 D250/standard cab/automatic transmission. I have 265/75/R16 tires on 8" chrome wheels. There is a rubber bed mat in it that weighs 60# and a cab height fiberglass topper. There is only a bumper hitch, no receiver or bed mounted hitch.
In the above configuration and with a half tank of fuel the truck weighed 5530#. This weight is without anyone in the truck.
As a side note, I used to have a 1974 International 3/4 ton 4WD pickup with the 392 v8 gas engine that weighed 5250#.
Just thought that some of you might be interested in what these trucks actually weigh.

92 D250 Auto Trans-Currently stock except for TCI special torque convertor. Now adding 16cm turbo housing, complete 4" exhaust, tachometer, pyrometer, and transmission temperature gauge. Injectors in the near future.
Also have 1984 Volvo D260 with inline 6 diesel made by Volkswagen.

Weighed my truck on digital scales on the way to BD dyno days. Weight including driver (170 lbs), 3/4 full tank of diesel (per gauge), cab high Leer canopy, bed liner, full length aluminum running boards, trailer hitch and spare tire was 6570 lbs. The truck is a 92 LE, 4x4, 5 spd.

My '92 D250 Club Cab tips the scales at 5710 with 1/2 tank of fuel and my dainty 235 lbs plopped in the driver's seat.
Two weeks ago, a buddy and I ran it across the same scales after loading 26 cement blocks in the bed. We got 10580 lbs. and decided to take it easy on the truck until we could unload it.
Wouldn't ya know it? There was an abandoned pickup blocking the driveway we needed to use. No way was I going to mess with that (or go around it) on a rain soaked unpaved driveway.
We brought it back home for the night. To take some weight off the suspension, we jacked it to level and slid some 6 ton stands under the frame. I've lost one rear end and can't afford to loose another at $1300 a pop!

Weighed my truck on the government scales by the George Massey tunnel near Vancouver six months ago. With a 5th wheel hitch fitted, a plastic storage box with maybe 75lb in it, 3/4 fuel, and me, 175 lbs, Used 1 kg = 2. 2 lbs
front 1610 kg approx 3540 lbs
rear 1210 kg approx 2660 lbs
Total 2820 kg 6200 lbs

Mine goes 6100 (3520 front, 2580 rear) with full tank (30galUS) plus a 175# me in it.
