Can you remember life without the 'net?

Will a Dodge Cap fit a Chevy or Ford?

135 lbs!!! That is awesome. If I lost 135 I would only weigh 40 lbs:D I thank God I have my Mom's metabolism but I try to watch my fat intake.

I have a friend that is 6'2" 350+ and was doing Atkins but fell off the wagon. I should tell him about body for life.

Thanks for the encouraging words Scott, Matt, Matt, Tim, Andy, and everybody! It is encouraging!

It has taken me Since July 26 to loose the 135 pounds. So about 7. 5 months. I'm averaging about 4 pounds a week. That may seen excessive, but with the amount of food I'm taking in, I'm rarely hungry. I do take some key supplements so I'm not lacking any nutrients or send my electrolyte out of whack. I hit a little plateua for about two weeks, and I tweaked my shoulder one week, and my lower back another week. didn't stop working out, just had to modify a little.

It has been a complete lifestytle change. But Saturdays are great! Anything food I want, I have. Scott and Matt can attest that there is not a safe doughnut or slice of pizza on staurdays at MassDiesel. !

Just this week i started my own diet. Under 20 a day carbs and eat whatever i want, drink at least 3 cups of green tea (BOOST metabolism by 1 point) and drink diet pop, water, or black coffee. On Monday i weighed 208. This morning i weighed myself at 205. My goal is to lose about 3 lbs a week for 10 weeks. Losing more than 3 lbs a week only means your losing muscle also. Dont want that. The only exercise i did this week was run 3/4 mile, and lift at the gym for a total of 3 hrs.

You inspired me... I am 6'3" and 300 lbs. Last night I went and walked 1. 5 miles on the treadmill and I bought the book today on Ebay. Need to get rid of some weight and get off the blood pressure and chlorestal (sp) meds.

Wish me luck and congratulations to you for your loss.

Congratulations Jeff!

It always cracked me up when my 270 lb friend would go out and buy the latest lightweight part for his dirt bike and not bother to lose a little weight!

I did the BFL thing last year. It's tough, but not as tough as the Atkins diet. Man, was I miserable. I did it for 2 weeks straight, felt like crap and had headaches from getting off of the caffeine. It messes with your stomach something fierce.

Body For Life is the right way to go. The reason it's not as popular as the really low carb diets is that it's a lot of WORK!

I gotta get back on it myself. When I did it, I really put on the muscle, but didn't lose a lot of weight. I was eating too much. I didn't follow the portion size rule of the size of your hand. I just got the Eating for life book and you've inspired me to dig into it.

Did you enter the contest and take the pictures and everything? Sounds like you might be a "kintenda"!!

Body for life is an amazing "Fad Diet".

Eat right and exercise! What a concept.

Have any of you that have ever tried it noticed that nowhere does it say: "results not typical" ? That's because if you follow the plan, you will get results.

Sometimes I'm amazed at how much time I spend on my truck, house, dog, etc. and how little time I spend on me and keeping healthy so I can enjoy all of the above for a long time.

I'm going for a run with my dog "Diesel"

:)
