weight?

I am sure this has ben answered already but i cant find it anywhere. how heavy is a cummins 12v in comparison to a 6. 5td. I would like to know if i need to rearch my springs in my suburban once i drop the motor in. .

I don't think the weight difference will be all that much... . not enough to really worry about. Especially if your 'Burban is earlier than a '92 and has leaf springs. They're a dime a dozen, and are easy as pie to replace with stronger ones.....

approx. 300# more, I just called tough counrty (who made the lift kit) told them what I was doing, and they suggested adding an extra leaf which I did, seems to work fine. Bob
