Weird A/C Prob with my '06

is the recirc door and the bled door the same thing? i had my blend door done on my 06 allready. seems to work fine. but when a/c is on recirculate and you put fan on high it is louder blower motor sound than when it's on fresh air. . is this normal?

They are two different things. The recirc door is above the blower, and the blend door(s) are in the center of the HVAC housing. It is normal for the blower to get a bit louder when in the recirc mode than it is in fresh air mode. If it is loud all the time with low air flow, then the recirc door could be broken...

Will the dealer warranty this fix? Mine did the same thing and I took the recirc door out. Now I would like to have the recirc. option for dusty roads. The last time the dealer had my truck, they came back and said "we can fix that for $495". No mention of any warranty and I checked online and there's no recall for that under my VIN.
