Just a question..... Its for the truck in the sig... . When i lightly touch the throttle and raise the rpm's from 750-800 up to 900-1000 and hold it there it idles with a lope or kinda misses in a sense... If i step on the throttle and raise the rpm's past that its fine. . It just if i hold it slightly above idle rpm's. .
When it does do it if i fluctuate the rpm's ever so slightly by about 50 rpm's sometimes the ABS light will flash on for a second and go back out...
I've replaced VP cause it went out, new lift pump at same time, also put on one of timbo's aftermarket APPS sensor's. I am running a SMARTY with added timing but have put back to stock and it still does it... I'm thinking it might be the camshaft sensor under the VP pump? Thats the only other thing i could think it might be?
I did find this in GENO's Garage site ECM details:
"The crankshaft position sensor was deleted for 2001 and 2002 models; engine speed, crankshaft position, and injection timing information will be derived from the camshaft position sensor signal. Notches are cut into the rear face of the camshaft gear. A hall effect sensor registers each notch as it passes, and sends the signal to the ECM. A missing notch corresponds to TDC of cylinder #1. "
Would that in red be what my truck is doing or does that mean nothing?
Truck runs awesome has power, no dash lights on and it idles smooth, well as a 24v would idle...
