Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) weird noise any ideas

Well i changed all the exhaust manifold gaskets and it still did not stop the clicking noise that i have. I have looked the Manifold over a couple of time now and can see a crack anywhere. I have not had a time to check the valves yet but i will soon. There is a small leak toward the 90 degree pipe that runs up through the bed but it is so far back that i don't think it would make any noise.



For some reason i think the noise is coming from the Injection Pump thats the side that it sounds like its is coming from when i am driving, however when i am on the other side it sounds like it is some thing on the passenger side. If i had to bet money on it i would say its an exhaust leak but i cant find it. Does anyone have any ideas?



Then noise is only noticeable now when the pedal is floored or when the motor is under a load.

My 02 makes a soundl like an exhaust leak when it's cold. haven't been able to figure out where it's coming from either.
