with this truck. Hooked up to a light 30 foot tag trailer. Awhile back the ABS and BRAKE lights lit and stayed on. Went by the DOC, he can't do anything about the ABS stuff, his scanner can't get to it. Anyway he reset the Overheat code that had been set and sent me on my way, (he told me it had to hit 220*F to set). I had run both computer batteries down so plugged the puter into the inverter and was charging one battery. Heading West on I-30 this morning, had to stop rather quickly to keep from running a red. Not panic mind you, but pretty quickly. After I get it stopped a few seconds later the engine quits running. What the hey? Shut all electronics off. . . turns the key and it started right back up. What's going on here anybody know? Going to be bugging this board for about 24 hours. . . seems I'm 2 blocked against my 70 in 8 limit again. Means I gotta sit for a day. Stuck in LaSalle, IL, on my way to Las Vegas, NV. Sure didn't make it very far. Anyway, if anybody knows what could be going on with this truck I'd like to know.

Update on weird things, went through Colorado to see wifey on the way to Vegas. Someplace close to Georgetown, CO I ran into another Hoosier Driver in a rest area, he informed me I had NO turn or brake/running lights. I did have all ID Marker lights on the trailer and everything was working on the truck. He offered to follow me to Grand Junction, CO where he needed to deliver. So from GJ to Las Vegas I could only drive in daylight. Made it interesting trying to get to Richfield before sundown. Confession: I drug that box 75 & 80, but made it. Anyway, dropped the trailer the next day and headed back to Colorado. 500 miles away Overdrive pops off and won't come back on. Didn't want to spend the fuel driving that distance at 2800 revs so slowed down to 60. Gheeze that's along time to go 60 MPH empty. No trailer lights, no OD, the little yellow sucky thing dam near full out. Think it's time to land and get things looked at. Otherwise they'll have to hook me up and drag me back.

Cheers, Steve J.

Check your ignition steering column wiring harnes and all the plug in the steering column. You looking for broken wires at the back of the spade connectors. If you don't find any that are broken, I will be surprised. Good luck
