Whether you like it or not in the main stream world, names like mine, Scott and Dustin will be pushing the public awareness of the potential of the diesel, and Americas renewable energy source. Not because of what you are a few others think about me of my truck, but what the potential sponsorship check writer thinks about the positive public image you bring and the awareness you illuminate on their cause or product . And I am very good at that part.

I think Scott and Dustin and the rest of their team are doing a fine job on showing everyone of the potentials of diesel power. They actually RUN their ride, at events that members go to, and they also don't look to have a head swelling problem and flappy lips:rolleyes: .
And furthermore- here you go AGAIN dragging OTHER people's names into your quagmire of a mess that you call publicity... ... ... we call it Comp's ego trip... ... ...

Wow, Now how much was that check that Edge gave ya?

thats what I thought

Green Machine, I didn't see anyone from EDGE out there, and the man I spoke to is not someone that sponsors me.

There are a number of drivers in addition to Scott and Dustin that will help further advance the popularity of Diesel Drag racing due to there positive public image. You do not have a positive public image, you are no where near a positive public image. The best thing you could do to improve your image is shut your mouth and quit talking yourself up to everybody, if your worth talking up then we, the consumer, spectator, or fellow racer will take care of that. The Edge truck is probably the best example of this. You barely won that poll that you posted, barely won against a truck that nobody has even seen. Now the Keating Machine truck has made an appearance at a actual Diesel event, and ran times very similiar to yours and they are being talked up. They aren't beating there own chest. You could take a lesson from them. Scott and Dustin never talk themselves up either, yet everybody knows about them.

People know of you for one reason, and its not how fast the truck goes.

Me, me, me, me, I, I, I, I, :-laf You know COMP I was talking with someone at IRP that I would say has the potential to write large sponsorship checks, (won't mention any names at this time) and your name came up,(yep you are famous) and his words were "He is way too self centered, and on a serious ego trip, and we would not want someone like that representing our company" I can't imagine why he would say something like that. ;) Does your race team consist of Me, Myself, and I? :-laf
I talk to a few vendors also , the only checks they would be intrested in, is ones you should write to them

I have a question......

Why is it that while I was at Indy and COMP's name came up that all parties in the conversation giggled? are you moonlighting as a stand up act on the weekends instead of running down the track now or what? :-laf

Funny I don't romber to many trucks as heavy as MadDog's running in the 10's!I think he was also the first to get those times(correct me if I'm wrong)With his power plant in a chassis like your's I bet his times would not be that far off!

So, I correct you... He never ran in the 10's He'll tell you that himself, It was based off a calculation factor (ask for the slip or video) So, It doesn't count. If it does then, I've already been in the LOW 9's :-laf

You mean you haven't been in the low 9's? :-laf

If not, you are not even worthy to converse with the 8. 72 King!

Wait till someone actually does try and sponsor ole COMP, all we have to do is show a link to these threads and no doubt they would cancel the check.

Fortunately, there are others out there that have the promotion of diesel motorsports in mind and will continue on with good conduct, not someone out for an ego trip.

IMO, its too bad that ole COMP didn't show up, he probably would have gained some respect (personally) just for showing up, but its obvious he needs a PR man for help.

Myself I am beginning to believe the time slip was printed out on a PC as we dont hear of anything happening with the truck or where it would be at to go see. I had started a thread about the roll call to IRP, and one of the first responders was COMP saying he was going. Then he says hes going to the great North West to run, but I hear that didn't happen either. SO, what is the truth anymore, does your truck really go that fast or is it too, just in your head? Makes a person wonder .

At the 1st Annual Nowel Thomas diesel drags December 2004 in Houston Texas, COMP couldn't even get the truck off the line ... blame it on the Lenco again Bud. . we all know what's up :{

YOU ARE AN ABSOLUTE FALSE STORY TELLER!!!!!

There was not track there to work with , I went thru the 1/8 mile traps almost side ways on the last pass and slid posted a 5. 72 at 97 mph . the trouble was a short in the electronic shut off , on the p-pump, after David Dunbar and Jeff Garmon showed me the trick of zip tying it open it was fine , remember I haven’t got all this enormous diesel experience . I went up to the line and it ran a 1. 187 60’ and 3. 52 330. This was going to be a great pass, but the track was not there. after it left the 400 ft of concrete , it got a little wild , what is you problem , the was a whole load of people in my pits watching the game , and talking , you seem to have this vendetta to try and lie about every thing . Get a life,

And others face it; there are many opportunities outside the diesel only communities, along with many inside also, I have an absolute spotless reputation outside this little arena, this is just for fun.

To put it in prospective about my reputation , I do about 10 school motivational speaking displays a year, along with being invited to do the NHRA’s Career Day in Pomona every year. During this event I usually team up with Melanie Troxiall and what ever vehicle I am there with at the time and do the school video clubs. This event usual has about 7500 to 10,000 high school seniors.

As to you threatening to showing outsiders the post on here in a effort to discredit me, you would be surprised as to who looks in to this as entertainment, some one who is the top in the diesel engineering world, that individuals organization believe that the diesel racers on here represent a very small demographics, and really nothing to pursue, the real market are people that are not racers, and would never even see the squabbles on this or any other sites.

In the past I ran for G. M. Performance Parts, my rating with them is excellent , as I am still in their performance parts catalogue in there places for the past 8 years. I currently have support from them in the way of complete LLY DURAMAX engines to pursue my next project

TWO MAJOR Diesel dragracing events on opposite sides of the country, last weekend.

Chimp461 showed at neither.

Duuuusttttt in the winnndddd!!!!!!!!

Come on Greg, just admit it, they took the car from you, and hired Keith Lockilear to drive it, because he understands Diesels, and how they run.

you bet he dose , and he has proven it hasn't he , the overwhelming performance of the Weasel

big deal, I was not allowed to go, for reasions outside my control, kind of like my day job. and I have to concentrate on another race coming up, and want my new motor in ,

Hey McFly! I never said that, maybe use "QUOTES" for the guy that actually said this about you, instead of slandering someone. :-{}

David Dunbar and Jeff Garmon showed me the trick of zip tying it open it was fine

That is QUITE the secret there buddy! :-laf  OR did DR. P teach you this? :-laf

I went thru the 1/8 mile traps almost side ways on the last pass and slid

Maybe sideways Back onto the trailer as people from the stands threw tomatoes at you and your crew "trying" to act like a professional race team with the silly little crew shirts ;) :p

Greg... ... ... ... . In Houston, I was standing in the stageing area when you made your runs. You're right about the condition of the track. And you're runs were what you said they were. Your truck is fast and we all know it. The trouble everybody's haveing with you is you keep telling and not showing. I will say this, before the year is out if the Keating machine continues on the course it's on, it will beat your times. That is just racing. He coasted 150 feet and still ran the 9. 20 @ 160 mph.

I'm not takeing the time here to pit your truck agains't his, there are just other players in the game now. And Dr. P, Joe D and Piers are not the only folks in America able to make power on the drag strip. What I think we need to do is just race and let the ticket do the talking. Or maybe this is just to much fun. I guess it is, here I am.

C' Y'all
