I know there is a lot of interest in welders and TiG welders, so here is an auction coming up that has 3-4 Miller Syncrowave 300's in Toledo, Ohio. A little bit older equipment, but could be a great deal for somebody.

Go to the March 17th auction at Continental Motors. There is a lot of good stuff there besides welders for someone trying to get into metalworking.

Be careful when buying from these types of auctions. If you do buy, bring a fork lift, because if you buy something big, good luck loading it into your vehicle.

Yes, as-is equipment always has a risk to it... . caveat emptor. There is usually so many people loading out equipment that it is pretty easy to get someone to throw something on a truck or trailer. Sometimes they might charge a little cash (usually riggers), but it's a jobsite for them.

some slings, a colapsable engine hoist/cherry picker and a low deck utility trailer works well...
