Mindless Posting......

I got married on Saturday in Spearfish, SD. The weather was perfect and the service and reception were great. I don't think I could have had a more perfect wedding except for one little problem with some family having to leave early. Overall I am very happy though. She is a wonderful woman and her family feels like family to me so I think things will be good for a long time.

congratulations!!!!

hope that you are happy together for the rest of your lives. i am at 26 years with my wife and we are still in love. its not always rosey, but if you have the desire to work through the problems instead of ignoring them, it should last.

by the way, she knows about the need to drive and modify these cummins trucks, right???? :-laf

Actually on the drive home yesterday she wanted to drive which was fine cause I was exhausted and I wanted to sleep so she drove from Rapid City to Chamberlain. She was really enjoying it, asking me all kinds of questions about the gauges and how the exhaust brake works and wanting to know if she could turn up the comp box and really smoke some people :-laf . She even stole my cowboy hat and wore it while she was driving. I asked her what had gotten into her cause she has rarely asked if she could drive my truck and she said she finally got her truck and the cowboy that came with it wasn't bad either.

Now she's going to show you her true self. The honey moon is over. You'll be driving a Honda civic while she's out smokin ricers at every stop lite.

Congradulations, lifes a whole lot better when you have someone to share it with. 29 yrs & counting here.

That's funny! Life is so much better with someone that makes you smile :D

Congratulations!

Congratulations bud, I hope you and your bride have a great life together!

PS - Better start saving for her truck NOW :-laf

Congratulations, sounds like you have a keeper.

I'll quote my Grandfather; "Marriage is a journey, there are times to attend to details and times to forget them. The most important thing to remember is that you let her think she is driving. "

They were married 72 years.

Good luck and God bless.

Thanks Guys. I appreciate the support. She truly is a wonderful woman and more imprtantly she is my best friend. I hope we are together a long time.

Marriage is still great. We have had some rough days but you need to know that will happen with any relationship or frinedship so that is all good, we have moved and will be moving again this summer, changing jobs again. But we sit down and we talk it out and when it is done we both have said we feel beeter for it. The nice part is we are going to finally be moving back to the Black Hills. We both grew up there and are looking forward to being back around family. I can hardly wait.

Anyway, marriage is wonderful. You get out what you put in. It won't solve all your problems, but if you are committed to it, then you will never have to face any problems alone. Good luck to you on yours. I hope it works out for you as well.

At least you'll be getting away from that Dan guy. :p

Lisa and I are celebrating 9 years married today. CM has good advice, communication is pretty much everything. No secrets and never get mad and not confront the situation. Enjoy being together! :D

One more thing, spend more on the honeymoon than you do on the wedding. You won't regret it the rest of your life.

Oh yea, got the Honemoon thing covered, at least I think. Going on a cruise out of Miami to Nassau, Coco Cay, Key West. She started a new job selling houses, and could only get off one weekend and through the week, so she has to be back to work the following saturday. I hope its a good time, I have never been on a cruise. I havnt told her yet that I bought it, but I know she would like to go on one (she has expressed this earlier). Thanks for the advice!!! I will try my best to listen.

(TDR helps with your truck and ... ... ... . your marriage, LOL)
