On another note,... I was out at PDR today. They are in their new home. I went out on Wed, Fri, and Mrs Bush came out on Sat and we got the last of their stuff moved over/into their new home.

WOW, major step up in shop size and facilities... real nice.



Talk about organized confusion during the move..... it was a real hoot N' holler... .



Today, I stopped by to see the end results of it all. .



I'd like to announce that today, with the help of "young mark" at PDR, we got my governor spring in. Since it was my "first time", mark worked with me on it. This youngster is darn meticulous in his work guys... .

You won't get away with shortcuts with him around. First class mark, and thank you.

Wildman helped out by razzing/teasing/and sticking his tongue out at me for not doing it all myself, but hey, it was all in fun.



I'm also lucky enough to be testing a PDR HX35/14.

I have to take it easy for the first few miles/days till it's broke in properly, since I don't wanna blow it up.

This means that I'll have to wait to see how the gov. spring performs while I'm doing the breakin.

I'll post a report on the GS some time next week. So far, I am seeing bit of improvement in smoke, and man it sounds SWEET when you have as little as 5 of 6 psi on it... . Definitely that "big rig" sound.

My change from the 16cm to the 14NW housing resulted in a EGT increase of about 100*F at WOT in 3rd gear. So, now I'll run the HX with the 14 and see if I get that much of a reduction in temps form the HX.



Who knows, maybe I'll end up with an HX40 like someone else on here is getting..... you know who you are... .
