That's why I changed over to Disc on EVERYTHING I pull with my Dodge. Don't know about yours but my brake pads are from a Pontiac Sunbird. Better selection of pads when it came time to change them, the OEM pads didn't last long. Bought Raybestos pads for Truck and ALL trailers pulled and wouldn't be without them.

It helps to have a Napa store that the owner is someone that ACTUALLY KNOWS WHAT THE HELL HE'S DOING :eek:
 
Added Kodiak disc brakes. Wow, truck stops almost as fast with trailer as just truck alone with a 10K trailer.

Just remember to do the slide pin cleaning and maintenance each year of so. They are not install and forget brakes. SNOKING
