Went to the dyno today

Well today I took my truck down to the new SuperFlo dyno in Greeley to try out these new Don M injectors, and all I can say is "WOW" these things rock. Back in February when I dynoed I was only able to muster 460hp with stock injectors if I remember right, and today my best reading was 593. 9hp and 1143. 9 torque (Dynojet numbers) and 561. 7 and 1081. 7 (SuperFlo numbers) these are corrected and I am still grinning from ear to ear. Thanks Don M for a top notch injector and Laser Bob for a great install, I cant wait to see what I put down with these new twins. Mike

Are you saying the ONLY difference between the 460 run and the 593 run were injectors?? Same settings on TST etc. , nothing else added or done?

Just like last time I got the most hp on 5x5, anything above that I would start to loose but I am hoping that with these new twins I will be able to go alot higher and burn more of this fuel.

You guys should have seen his face when we only got about 400 out of these injectors to start. We had decided that we were missing something, even checked all the clamps and ran out of ideas. Dgrizz stuck his fingers around one of the intercooler boots (I thought we checked it) again and found a leak so big that it didn't whistle.



We straightened it up and went back in to the Lie Detector and got a whole new truck. Oo. :--)



Mike could put a line in his sig "smokes like a 12 valve w/370's & 0 plate"



Mike left to go home and called to leave a message "This thing ROCKS!"



Mike, glad you are happy, for now. I know that you need a little more hp for your daily driver needs .

When I was on 5x5 during the run I looked over and it was on about 1650 deg, This twin program seemed to be alot hotter than the regular TST program because boy did this thing blow some balck smoke :-laf. I do not think that I was anywhere close to running the rail dry :-laf

I recently made max hp at 5/4 TST after PDR twins install, fueler kit, 5 in exhaust, etc... on #2 we made 660. 5 rwhp @ 125mph on the dyno. It smokes but not what I consider excessively. Temps are way low, very rarely getting over 800 normal driving 1000-1200 when running WOT. The shop I worked with ran 26 runs to adjust and this is where we stopped. The big jump for me came along with injectors & fueler kit, high 5's to low 6's after twins & injectors then 640's to 660. 5 with both injectors & fueler after twins. 04. 5 2500 600 CTD 4X4

MikeS1 you won't care what the TST settings are once you get your twins installed. You will be so freakin pumped. It's the combination of everything your are doing and whatever settings make the most gains. BTW seriously impressive numbers with what you've done so far!!

Who's twins are you running? Very nice power for a 3rd gen trk.
