Were did my smoke go?

I have noticed in the last couple of days when I stomp on it I'm not seeing as much smoke coming from the tail pipe. The power seems to be a little shy but not much. Do you think it could be my fuel filter or fuel pump? It's got to be something with the fuel cause it's not getting as hot as fast. Anybody have a similar experience.

Mine is the same way... . I think it may be the cooler dry air

Colder Denser air does not make as much smoke as that hot humid summer air!

. . . and drier #1 fuel likely makes less smoke.

cooler climates make a more dense oxygen charge which burns the same amout of fuel more efficiently = less smoke

My '05 laid down some pretty good smoke when I bought it in October, but with the cool weather these days, no smoke. Like they said above, cooler, more dense air = much better burn.
