Ahem Here's the HOOTER'S Pics

Dyno run in Spokane, $40 HP only, $50 with torque

anybody interested in a west coast meet

say somewhere in Baha Ca on the coast line

could even be 2 or 3 years from now.

I ve never been there , dont know a thing about

it, I know lots or rv'ers go.

We could get some people who really know this

area well, pick a place and all work now so

more can go to this meet in the future.

we can have scheduled runs of groups going

from different p[laces, join up caravan down

make range of stay long enough so if retirees

want to stay longer they can, and people

like me 10 days to 2 weeks max,

If we get enough interest iam sure Mr PATTON

will set this up here so we can all post

and maybe get a registration form going

What do you all think! Bill

I was a Cal. resident for over 50 years and used to go to Baja fishing a lot. I would probably come from Texas for this. I can tell you that you wouldn't want to go more than about 200 miles down. At San Quintin, the road moves from hugging the coast where it is nice and cool to the desert where it is miserably hot. Also, below Ensenada, services and products availability become very scarce. I haven't been down in a number of years but I can't believe it has changed much. Also, RV parks get very scarce below Ensenada so if the group was large, could wind up dry camping.

Drives mopars,

Maybe you could see if any members around San Diego would be willing to do a scouting run to see what is available and where.

Phil

I have been there a number of times also. I have seen temps. of 105* - 110* in April. If you plan on a summer meet, plan on being miserably hot during outside activities. San Felipe is directly across the gulf from Puerto Penasco. Ask KWIKKURT what it is like there in the summer time. If this is to be a family thing, you are much better off sticking to the Pacific side. JMO.

Bill,

Have been to San Felipe many times over Easter vacation and temps ran around 100*. Haven't been in several years but could be worse with global warming. :D

San felipe in april and may is nice. The air is very dry about 20% humidity. Its great for fishing and swimming. The tide ranges from 10 to 20 feet! Good camping on the beach so. of town and good food in town.
